Are raspberries good for bearded dragons?

If you’ve wondered if you can you feed bearded dragons raspberries – you can, but only in moderation. You should only indulge your beardie with one or two raspberries once a

MONTH

Raspberries should be given sparingly to your bearded dragon – not more than once or twice a month. Raspberries are a delicious fruit, and bearded dragons tend to like them. They are full of antioxidants, and high in nutritional value, but do have some drawbacks.

Like bananas, raspberries tend to have a higher phosphorus to calcium ratio, preventing calcium from being absorbed. Bearded dragons rely heavily on calcium for strong bone structure. You don’t want your bearded dragon to develop metabolic bone disease (MDB).
